8.21 Speedometer (Pair)
Centurion Super Pro
This feature is used to store VIN in a Speedometer. This will resolve the vin_Err message when installing a used Speedo.
NOTE: If the ECU is locked by another product, you will NOT be able to perform any active settings changes as we will not be able to communicate with the ECU.
NOTE: When receiving the VIN error, this means that the speedometer is not recognized by the ECM. This can happen if the rider had an aftermarket ECM installed or just a general ECM replacement with another used ECM. If this has happened we need to re-pair the speedo cluster with ECM so they are communicating properly. This can be done using this feature.
- Select the Active Settings Icon ( )
- In the first dropdown menu select 'Speedometer'
- In the second dropdown menu select 'Speedometer (Pair)'
- Set the motorcycle to IGN and switch to Run.
- Click 'Pair Cluster'.
- Follow prompts.
