Flashing with a Maximus
Maximus does not require any additional equipment. Maximus will lock to the first motorcycle ECU it is used on and will permit continued programming of that motorcycle ECU.
- Plug in the Maximus device to the computer with one end via USB cable and plug in the other side to the motorcycles diagnostic connector via 4PIN/6PIN cable.
- Launch the software through the TechnoResearch Launcher
- In the Direct Link software, click "Get ECU Details" in box number one.
- You will then be prompted to back up the existing map in the motorcycle, we recommend you do this before reflashing the ECU.
