11.2.3 MPG Decreased After Flashed Motorcycle
Q: My MPG has decreased substantially since programming a tuning file.
It is possible that the closed loop range in the tuning file is not activated or not covering the entirety of your cruising range.
Review the AFR table and increase the number of bolded cells to cover a more liberal portion of possible cruising areas (do this by increasing a value until the text turns bold). So long as the VE tables are properly calibrated, the motorcycle will achieve much better MPG with an extended closed loop range.
